Ok to start off I have had this phone for 26 days and I have just recently cracked the screen. It was purely accidental, It fell out of my pocket while I was changing and the apparently super strong screen failed. I was wondering if and how I would go about replacing the phone. I bought the phone from amazon wireless, and I do not have insurance yet.

I thought I remember reading somewhere that the screen is about $65 to $70. If you could install it yourself, you could save some money. Or find someone to do it "on the side".
Just my 2 cents.

I think they have either a 75 or 100 deductible on these phones...

And the deductible for the Cappy is actually $125 when you make a claim.

What is the number of days under the return policy? 14 days, 30 days?

Whose return policy?  ATT?  And is it a return for exchange or return for your money back?

I would just bit the bullet and pay the $125.  Replacing the screen sounds easy on paper but once you take apart a phone everything so small and delicate that if you make one wrong move your going to damage it further anyway.  I did manage to swap casings on my old motorola MPx220 windows mobile smartphone after the casing broke, but later on I tried to swap casings on a Motorola V557 and I failed horribly.  It worked fine as long as the phone was open but if I closed it it would shut off.

Yeah, there are a few people that have posted, post-replacement issues.  The main problem being that the connector part attached to the "motherboard" that the ribbon cable connects to comes off very easily!  even though it's soldered on!
