This is the third time this has happened to me. Device Management shows "Connecting to DM Server..." and it locks up the phone. The phone overheats and the only way to clear it is to remove the battery. As soon as you turn it back on the Device Management takes over again.
The first time this happened I worked with AT&T Customer Support. They couldn't figure it out and replaced my phone. The second time this happened was with my new phone. I decided to see if it would actually push software and clear up and it seemed to unlock after almost 24 hours. Now I'm on the third time with this problem and I'm sick of not being able to depend on my phone. I can't access any of my files.
My husband also has a Captivate and this happened once with his phone and he said it cleared after 24 hours. Both our phones are rooted.
Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix it?
