So I flashed Cog 2.3b7 without the overclock just to get my feet wet with this whole process and it went well. It's much faster than stock, having a battery percentage is a god send and it got rid of the ATT bloatware. It's been fantastic so far. My question is that since I got the non OC version, am I able to reinstall 2.3b7 with the overclock this time, via the method I originally installed it or would I have to do it through Odin?

I also backed up my rooted 2.1 rom which I still have access to if that could simplify things. What I'm thinking could work is to restore back to my rooted 2.1 and redo the Cog install but I'm not sure if that would work. Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.

Flash back to Odin. Stock and cognition use different kernels, and if you clockwork different kernels, you will brick hard (happened to me). And cog w oc may use a different kernel than cog without oc, so if you want to go to backed up 2.1, you should odin then clockwork to 2.1 stock then clockwork to 2.1 backup.

Thanks for the reply but I actually didn't need to use Odin at all. I just followed the same steps I used to install it in the first place and it worked perfectly fine.
