Cognition 3.01

Just thought I'd let people know if they didn't know already.

I already flashed and it is just awesome. Really smooth and has the mobile ap (wifi tether without app) built in. DG also released a new kernel, check first post for link(haven't tried. I'm using stock kernel).

Remember to always follow direction and backup everything.

EDIT: I had to recalibrate my battery after flash but this may just be me, I haven't read of other people having this problem so no biggy. I fixed it with the charge to 100% turn off, plug in till 100% while off and so on method.

I flashed Cog 3.01 yesterday and everything is great. Quadrant scores are double the stock Captivate. Very stable and gps locks on in seconds inside the house.

at least he got the gps to work now lol saw that on the forum the other day and was wondering when someone would post it about it here. Thought about trying it out but i just got my cezar rom the way i like it and i finnally found a rom that i can get 14 hours out of

With the last cog 2.?b? whatever it was, I had to get the gps fix app and that worked well, but nice to not have to run that anytime I want my weather to work or google to find my location....

Very nice.

EDIT: Btw, the media loads way faster then ever before... I am using 12gigs on internal sd and it only takes a few seconds to load it all, use to take a good few minutes before

yes the media scanner is GREAT just lke 5 seconds and its done, but i've got to say my favorite feature on this rom is the hacked camera where you can use the power key as the take picture key SOOO much easier

now its cog v3.02 lol i sometimes hate how fast they update these roms its great knowing that they update them but it does get tiring of having to reinstall everything

almost all the roms have the hacked cameras now btw

I just installed 3.02 last night.
Anyone have any problems making a call? After 5 seconds I lose signal and the phone crashes.
I can receive a call and stay on, only when I try to make a call.

First time I have tried this, help please!

that is more along the line of when people make the roms they have teh stock roms be their statci picture, there is a folder in your phone that you can change what you stock wallpaper will be

Is there a built in screen shot app or feature on this rom? I was in the facebook app and did something, not sure what, and a notification came up saying screenshot taken. It saved it to a folder in my files called Screen Capture. Does anyone know the button combo to take screenshots?

uh as far as i know there is no preinstlled software that does that unless if cog has one, i have super manager which when selected you shake your phone to take a screen shot
