Hey All,
Just got done flashing 2.3b7. So far so good. Kind of a pain in the *PUNISHER RULES* flashing back to stock first, but it all worked out.
The first thing I noticed and "really" like, when I long press on the home screen and click widgets, the menu opens and any widget with more than one option shows only once with the words 2 widgets or 3 widgets or how ever many there are "below it" in parentheses. So if a widget has several, like Jorte, it shows once. Below it will be how many are available. Once you click on the widget, it opens up and gives you all of them. Very cool. Saves a lot of scrolling when choosing a widget.
Power button features seem to be the same.
Settings menu looks the same.
I'll check the test scores and let you all know.
More later.

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
as soon as flashed b7 I went to his page and b8 was out. Soooooo,,,,,,,,I flashed b8. Much quicker this time. Gets easier each time.
The last thing I did with b7 was to do a Quadrant. Only got just over 1000. Was disappointed to say the least. Went to his page to look for a solution and saw b8. Flashed it and did Quadrant again, this time I got 1500. Much better.
Most of it seems to be the same.
Happy.

Glad you like it and it becomes addicting very fast. But dont pay attention to the quadrant scores, they can be inflated easily so it really doesnt prove anything

Ya, I've heard that. Just use it as a general guideline.
I have several of the Perception builds on my lap top also. I decided to stick with the Cognition build for now. No particular reason, just familiarity.

not a bad reason to stick with it like im sticking with axura for the moment but 2.4 has horrible battery life have to charge my phone 3 times a day without even using the darn thing hope his next build is better

I don't think that is very good for your battery.

I don't think that is very good for your battery.

I could see that causing premature battery failure.
I personal have been thinking about picking up a spare battery. Just in case. Say we take a hike or get into a position where I can't charge.
