Allready updated the phone to 2.2 Froyo. I have a lot of junk on my phone and want to reset/ or clean up all data. I dont care if i lose all my apps and contacts. If i do a factory reset, which there is a one click button in the settings option. Will the phone go back to 2.1 eclair ? I just want to start fresh with nothing on the phone but running 2.2 Thats all. Big Smile Big Smile

I just did it last week. It takes you back to 2.1. I did this then used mini kies to update to 2.2 and I gotta say this installation was faster and the phone seems faster. I'm also getting Quadrant scores of around 1900. When I first updated I was getting 1600-1700. Both are after rooting, cleaning bloatware and lagfixing as well as a few other minor tweaks. Plus, it's been 100% reliable so far. After the first update, I was having a few minor freezeups that cleared themselves after a half minute or so.
