Case for the Captivate

Heh, nice solution for not having to worry about wearing cargo pants 24/7 in order to carry everything mentioned!

I have the Otterbox Defender for the Captivate.  It has a hard plastic case that snaps in place around the phone and a silicone skin that goes around the plastic case; kind of like a bumper guard. Thirdly, it comes with a screen protector.  Initially I thought it added a lot of bulk to a very sleek phone, but I have adapted to it.  It gives me piece of mind that WHEN I drop my phone, it's going to be okay. 
It also come with a holster/belt clip.  I am not fond of this piece.  It's very bulk.  Only in situations when I'm not carrying a purse will I use it.  Overall I am very pleased with this case.

I picked up three cases from Amazon to try out;
Leather w/magnetic flap cover and belt clip ($3)
Haven't had any desire to begin using it. Could begin using it as a murse.

Hard silicone case, snaps together, slides and clips to belt clip ($30)

Expensive but worth it when I need the phone on my belt and quicker access or if I'm going to have other items in my pockets. Screen faces inward so could potentially record video while walking around if desired. Clip is rotational.

Soft silicone skin ($3)
I find that I use this the most. Hand grips it better. Can set it down and still see the screen. Can set it down with the screen facing downward and the skin keeps the screen from touching. Being flat, the phone sits in my front pocket nicely and I just set it on the console when getting in a car. Won't slide around while traveling.
This one isn't too bulky and even fits in the belt clip of the Seido. What a combo!
