Those full body clear protectors are pretty unnecessary.  It's best to buy a case and/or a front screen protector.

If you're going to invest in a full body protector then just follow this link, they're the best have used them for several years.

I can vouch that the Captivare Otto case is the best. 3 levels of protection. Find it on Ebay and at the AT&T store. Runs about 40-60.00 though but its the best out there.

I have ben using the zagg skin protector. Love it. You can even get custom prints, and only costs about 20 bucks.

When I plan to carry the phone in my pocket or set it on the center console in the car I use a soft silicone skin so it won't slide.

For belt carry I use this one by Seidio;
http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-Innocase-Surface-Holster-Captivate/dp/B00426CRTU/ref=sr_1_13?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1301388873&sr=1-13
It's pricey but allows for vert or horizontal positioning. The hard shell case slides together over the phone nicely and then slides in to the belt holder. Can record video while it's clipped on. Will fit in the belt holder while the phone is inside a soft silicone skin too.

The Lexerd TrueVue screen protector is what I use and highly recommend;

With the included finger covers, not difficult to get bubble free. Can be replaced without leaving residue. There also is a two pack available for $16

I use the Incipio cover for the back and the Lexerd screen protector.  I always carry my phone in my pocket and feel the Incipio ( I think it is the Feather something model) doesn't add much bulk and decent protection, though the corners still a bit exposed.  Lexerd is nice, not tacky at all time will tell how well it stays put.
