Agreed, Personally, i'd rather just keep my phone nude. Say what you will, but I just can't stand cases. I bought a case for my Eternity, HATED IT before I even got it out of the mall, quickly got my money back before leaving the mall. I just don't like them. I fee like they cover up what the phone is suppost to look like. If I wanted a black jelly feeling phone, I'd have bought one.

That's just my view :p

Understood,

I just feel better about the fact that in case it gets dropped or bumped into something it will be well protected.

Accidents happen and insurance doesnt cover scratches and chips. At least I dont think they do.

Yeah, I somewhat agree. Thats why i'm still unsure if i'll end up casing the body of my Captivate. I don't like them, but it would be a good "Just in case" deal. I had my eternity for it's whole cycle, and I never personally dropped it(Aside from when I was listening to music and fell asleep with it in my bed, and it slid off my loft bed and dangled all night on the headphone cord).

Also, since this thread is somewhat about accessories, does anyone know a place to buy a cheap, good, car charger for this phone? I don't NEED one, but it would be nice to have one just in case. Also, I don't think this is possible, but do you think I could plug the USB part of the charger cable into my radio that's meant to play music, and charge from that? I doubt it, but I use the AUX port to play my phone from :p

I have a dual outlet USB charger for my 4-runnah and LOVE IT!  I can be charging it and also have my wireless transmitter plugged in cranking out my tunes on my trips.

I see some that are only $5-9 on ebay...and yes you can find stateside sellers with them.

I highly recommend you find something somewhere to cover at least the back of the phone.  The back is carbon fiber and has already proven very well just how much and how easily it can be scratched.  Just my $0.02.

Phaser:  Yes, the extra optional insurance each month will cover user damage (even water damage) -- but at a $125 deductible.

Still good to have regardless of the deductable.

Ebay is definitely a good way to go for chargers and cases for mobile phones.

I bought a power inverter years ago for like 5 bucks at a truck stop. It has dual USB ports and a receptacle outlet as well, it can plug right into the cigarette lighter.
