When I got my Captivate I got the Body Glove hard case for it. It is a snap on case with a rubberized exterior.  Well, after 3 1/2 months the case is definitely showing some wear.  The rubberized surface on one of the corners is worn and some of the edges where the 2 halves comes together, the rubberized fabric is coming loose from the hard case.

Right now, I am looking for a better case that will last more than 3 1/2 months.  I have thought about the Otterbox or one of the Seidio cases.

What are the specs that you are looking for in a case?

I went sleek and sexy with just an invisiskin for the body.  My wife has a body glove silicon cover that is in excellent condition after 4 months.

Really? Is that the one priced as $24? I've purchased it like a couple of days ago but I also purchased yesterday the Seidio Hybrid Case. Looks amazing on the phone though.

The bought the same Bodyglove case...the only reason is because of the kickstand it comes with.  In my opinion it is too bulking with the belt clip and the clip really isn't functional.  It's too hard to get on and off.  I found mine on Amazon for $14..I'm glad I didn't pay much for it.  I can see that it won't be lasting long.  When I first snapped it together it really didn't even connect right on the top.  I have a generic silicon cover on it's way in the mail.  I only paid a couple of bucks for it and it comes with a car charger.  I had one for my Eternity that I never had problems with.  I've read that the Otterbox is a great, durable cover.  It's generic looking and bulky but if that's what are going for then it should suit you right.

I bought the incipio edge case off of amazon, though it is on their official website also.

i have posted pictures on other websites but if youd like me to post them here just let me know. it seems like an awesome case thus far. fits nicely, the bottom buttons are easy to get to, feels good in the hand and has a soft to touch feel
