What are you all using in your vehicles to put your phone in?

I don't have one yet. My wife had a cheap one that self-destructed. I don't really need one until the GPSr starts working though!

I use my cupholder or the cubbyhole in my door handle.  LOL  If those are occupied, I lay it between my gear shift & the instrument panel (I have a '99 4-Runner).  It will stay perfectly still because of the silicone case it's in.  Stays nice and close to my charger & FM transmitter too so I don't have to worry about where all the cords are.

I use a modified Garmin Nuvi holder.
This is what I got,
cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270626403250&ssPageNam e=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_2572wt_1137

it was cheap so I got 2.
Since it's for the Garmin it's a little big but if yo heat the ends, you can mold it to your phone.

One I use part of it mount to my Pro Clip
the other I just use for the windshield in case I'm not in my vehicle

I use a ProClip car mount. They are a little pricey, but I spend alot of time in my vehicle. They keep the phone very secure. I think it cost me around $70, but its worth it for me.

I don't have it, but this looks pretty good.

Icersman,

I don't have that either, but I would be wary of the sticky pad working day in and day out (looks a little gimmicky).  I would be more inclined to a universal mount like these from Arkon or Kensington (though the long flxible shaft on the Kensington might may it a little shaky):

http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-K39217US-Universal-Windshield-Smartphones/dp/B003SE6LD0/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_1

There are lots of others out there that will clamp down on the sides of your phone and does not use sticky to hold the phone.  I used an Arkon window mount with a Palm PDA back when I had one.

I did notice that Walmart had a Scoshe window/vent mount for about $25.00.  I have seen universal mounts at Office Depot, but I don't know how much they cost.

I have a universal GPS windows mount that I use that clamps on the side of the phone.

Nice to see an OEM product, but the pictures don't even match!!!  Looks like maybe an i9000 phone in the other pics, and there are corner "wraps" around the phone where those aren't shown in the empty pic.

I kept looking online for the best phone mount in vehicle, and sorry folks I found this one which originally designed for Iphone but it fits perfectly fine for our phone.  It's currently on special on Amazon - http://amzn.to/hHYOrD

I just purchased the WindowSeat AUX from Griffin.  Got it at Best Buy for $29.00.

Its a little stiff, but it works well and the center support does NOT get in the way of the adapter plug.  It works both vertical and horizontal.

I haven't tried the mini-speaker jack as I only need it for GPS use in my car.

And by the way . . . now with Froyo my GPS finally WORKS.

I use this holder from time to time. It's quick, inexpensive to put together, works, and I don't mind if I lose it.

I dipped the chrome part in black liquid vinyl and let it cure as an alternative to wrapping with thread. Another idea was to cover the chrome arms with fingers from a rubber glove.
