I am using handcent messaging app. I have a contact on my phone by the name of Repair Specialties. His name is Mike. I think when I first got my phone and copied my contacts from the Sim to the phone it put him as mike so I edited the contact and under First Name I put Repair Specialties.
When I'm using Hancent messaging app it shows the txt from Mike but if I go into the stock messaging app it shows the text from Repair Specialties. I then deleted the contact and created it again. All I have in the contact info is Repair Specialties for the First Name and his phone number. I also selected a catagory. I did no other input into the contact info.
Now it is reversed when I go into Handcent it show Repair Specialties and when I go into the stock messaging app it show Mike.
I deleted the contact just now and in both messaging apps it show the txt from Mike.
This is no big deal. I'm curious as to what is causing all this...
