Looks that way.  Looks like i have used close to 240mbps this month on 3g alone .  Which is hardly anything.  I am not sure what constitutes as a large amount of data on a mobile O/S.   Im sure i have used close to a gig through wifi connection

well it's true though lol but unless you in a major city most people tend to use wifi over 3g cause its more convienent , the small amount of data our phones uses is small compared to social networking and adding pictures over 3g like people in major cities . lol so i can see where they come from but did they take in account the people not covered in 3g area that dont use them as much lol

No, we're not being called data hogs.  The writer is just making it look like that though.  It's a matter of supply and demand.  Consumers have increased data usage and smartphone usage more quickly than wireless companies projected and now they're wondering why?  If the android OS had not come out on phones and the capabilities of the Galaxy S phones was not what it is, the article would say "iPhone users...blah blah blah".

I think it's awesome to hear something like this though as it just goes to show up apple in the way that android has dominated the market because people are tired of their constricted os.

that's funny... it was because of the anticipated amped up bandwidth requirements of the iPhone 4 that AT&T ditched the unlimited $30 access right before the release of the new iPhone... so who's the SWINE in THAT scenario...?!?! They we losing thier @$$3$ with providing unlimited internet for $30 bucks.. with all the streaming HD video capabilities!?

Android is Apple's whippin boy...
