My wife and I both have Captivates and almost every day, the volume slider indicator for "notification volume" decreases all by itself.  Anyone have a suggestion?  Thanks.

That's just plain weird, but sounds like a hardware issue.  How long have you guys had the phones for?  If you're under the 1 year manufacturer's warranty I would consider making a claim.  Just know that you MAY get a refurbished phone back (and who knows what kind of problems it had before you got it...).
