Hi All,

I am a new user & looking for a "Visual Light/LED"  notification. Some way to see that you have a message of some kind without unlocking.

Best thing I would do is flash a ROM with a BLN kernel. I'm using Perception 9.5 and it's fantastic.
Basically, with a BLN kernel, when you get a notification, the four hard buttons at the bottom will light up (and blink if you want).
Best thing I ever did. Highly recommended and it's not difficult to flash a custom ROM. It'll be all over XDA.
