Now I can't get any ringtones to work. Nothing for calls, texts or email, even after rebooting and pulling the battery. If so, your phone might be thinking the headphones are in when they are not. Them try removing and reinserting it a few times, might clear it up.. That happened to mine and a little piece of lint was the culprit. I had to pick it out with a safety pin. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using Tapatalk The problem is back -- getting sound with the earbuds but nothing from the speaker.  I've cleaned the headphone jack with compressed air, but no joy.   Running Cog 4.5.3 UPDATE: Found a solution on Android Central.  It appears the speaker may have come loose.  Pushing on the metal grill over the speaker must have pushed it back into position and I now have sound.
