Okay I went one by one and then when I killed the Yahoo Mail, it stopped lighting the arrows at top. I went ahead and uninstalled the app, bc it sucks anyway so no skin off my back there.

I guess I will go up to ATT tomorrow then.

Glad you found the culprit. I had the yahoo mail app on my phone for awhile and it didn't do that but you're right it does kind of suck so no big loss! lol

Your ultimate fix to this problem is going to be pinning down why you cannot connect to your own wifi signal.

So please walk us through step by step when you attempt to connect to wifi and let's see what we can narrow down.

Menu -- Settings -- Wireless & Networks -- Wi-Fi Settings
There should be a list of wi-fi networks available in the lower section.  Do you see the name of your home network?

Look through the network listing and find one that doesn't have a lock-symbol on the right -- this will indicate an open/public connection.  See if your phone will connect to it (this will help rule out if it's a phone-based issue or network-based issue).

If you see your home network displayed, and have not been able to connect to it successfully, long-press the network name and select "forget network".

Next, reset your home network router:  Unplug the network cable from the router, then from the modem, then from the wall. Unplug the router & modem, leave them turned off for 15-20 seconds, then plug the modem/hub power back in first, then plug the router power back in.  Reconnect the network cable from the wall to the modem, make sure you have the full set of blinking lights like you need, then reconnect the modem to the router.  Once this is done, see if your phone will connect to your home network.

I would turn off background data as suggested earlier, also make sure that your apps are not set to auto update.

I had this issue with wifi conned vin at my house until I discovered that the router had a access lock on it. If you have a router access utility program installed, you may have to use that to unlock your system...
