Straight Talk on Captivate?

Is it possible to use a Captivate with Walmart's Straight Talk $45 unlimited everything plan which also runs on AT&T's network?

well first the phone has to be unlocked and second of all does straight talk use sim cards? if they do use sim card then your answer is yes it is possible

straight uses their own "sim card" which doesn't fit a Captivate (or hardly anything else either.....)

Actually they use a standard sim card, it is locked to a the specific phone on all of the GSM phones they offer EXCEPT the nokia models. E71, 6790 and now the E5. These models use a standard sim card which can be moved to ANY unlocked gsm phone and typicaly works fine in any ATT phone without even unlocking. It has become very common to use these in iPhones (requires gutting the sim card for iPhone use). THE TRICK IS YOU CAN NEVER GET RID OF THE NOKIA!!!!! As soon as its reactivated on StraightTalk (they will send out a new sim) YOUR SIM GETS TURNED OFF!!! Luckily StraightTalk is offering E71 and 6790 Refurbs for $99 (I paid $169 for mine). You activate the phone, LNP your # if you want,  take out the sim, toss the phone in the back of a drawer and forget about it and your good to go. $45 bucks a month unlimited.
