Hi folks,
I'm going to be moving onto the SGS 2 forum. I picked up my new Samsung Galaxy S 2 a couple of weeks ago and I love it. It's super fast, has great apps pre-installed. I love the Gingerbread launcher. Great phone.

See you on the SGS 2 forum and thanks for all the help.

Amazing how fast I became addicted to this phone.

Thanks Mo. Everything you heard is probably true. It's impressive. I know how some feel about Quadrant, but I regularly pull 3450's with a best of 3485. And that's with a stock rom. All I've done is replace the kernel with one with built in root.

If your thinking about an upgrade, take a look at it. You won't be disappointed.

I don't spend additional money to go outside contract upgrades, so next year. Who knows, maybe the SG III will be out by then.  Laugh

I am pretty sure the SG II will be my next phone also.  Can't imagine finding something better.  But I expect my current Captivate will take me thru to my contract renewal time any.  Of course, there is no telling what else might be out there in another year.  Maybe they'll be implanting communicators in my forearm and putting video viewers in my eyeballs by then.  I'm 60 years old, learned to type on a manual typewriter, so I am never surprised by leaps in technology.
