Re: Something about the original Galaxy S that baffles me... « Reply #5 on: March 20, 2011, 11:02:20 PM » That "pad" might be the "home" button -- if so then it's only missing the search button.  Still touchscreen otherwise.  But I agree the design is a little odd...maybe just modeling that pad akin to the button on an i-anything. If I recall, Samsung was targeting the iphone 3GS, and I imagine the big home button is a stab at apple.
