Where's the home button?  All I see is Menu, back, and a track pad.  How can you possibly navigate android only using back and menu?  Just curious.  I'm guess that's why in the State's we got 4 different Galaxy S phones instead of the original galaxy S.

Your talking about I9000?  Well a quick search around the internet and... every review for it says that it's a really big home button, and don't really mention a track/optical pad.

Yeah I'm referring to the gt-i9000.  I don't have a link but just google it and look at a pic.  Looks like it has the menu button on the left, a back to the right, and there's a big square in the middle, that I thought was a trackpad.

I did too, given the size of it.  But when I looked around for reviews of it no one mentions a track pad.

You can download the manual for the I9000 here, and even in the book it does not mention a track/optical pad

That "pad" might be the "home" button -- if so then it's only missing the search button.  Still touchscreen otherwise.  But I agree the design is a little odd...maybe just modeling that pad akin to the button on an i-anything.

Upon further review, its a home button. If I recall, Samsung was targeting the iphone 3GS, and I imagine the big home button is a stab at apple.
