GG is the best thing that's happened to mobile devices since sliced bread!  (well, bread doesn't do too much for devices, but you get my drift)  In the market for anything new?  Want to know if it's GG-loaded?

Due to customer agreements, we cannot identify all devices that feature Gorilla Glass. Your favorite device may include Gorilla Glass, even if you don’t see it listed. Ask your manufacturer or retailer to learn more.

Good info to know, especially if you're tablet shopping like I am for the hub's b-day.

Nice find MK.

And remember people, gorrilaglass is scratch resistant, NOT scratchproof.  There is a difference.

Thanks for this.  Very helpful.  I totally agree with the 'sliced bread' analogy.  In fact, used it myself to describe Gorilla Glass.

Gorilla glass rocks, and essential when I go phone shopping next time.   They may be resistant, but they are nearly proof too, very hard to scratch.   Also just heard the new Nexus won't have gorilla glass, and i was seriously considering it before, but that is a major deal breaker!

After watching any/all videos online of gorilla glass vs the world, I will never own a phone that doesn't have it, period.  It's as close to scratch-proof as it can be.

Yeah no gorilla glass is a deal breaker on any future phone I buy.  My captivate's screen is tough.  After having the plastic screened eternity and Mythic, I was a bit afraid of getting a glass screen, but the I've dropped my captivate at least once or twice, on concrete, and had no scratches or cracks.  I used to have an invisible shield but after my wife made a warrenty claim on her Captivate and seeing how nice her new one looked without one, I ripped it off, and I've never looked back, and I work a physical job in which past phones I've had without a screen protector got tore to all hell in my pocket.  Not my Captivate, well I"m on my third one, but none of the 3 have had a scratch.

I tried the zagg shield when I first got the phone but didn't like it. Been without a screen protector since then. That was 14 months ago and the screen is still flawless.
