Done ROOTed now a SUPERUSER - what now ?

It really depends on what you want. There is so much out there it can make your head spin.

About the only thing that I would truly recommend is titanium backup. When you start playing around with the phone, sometimes even the most experienced phone people have a problem and have to reset the phone. Titanium backup will let you restore all of your apps and settings without having to re-download them all over again.

And the other app I absolutely love is keep the lights on. It keeps the bottom home keys lit whenever the screen is on, so they don't shut off after 2 seconds.

If you feel adventurous, you could always start doing custom roms using rom manager. Again, there are many out there. I have used fasty rom 2.5, cognition, and purplicious, I have been very happy with all of them. Currently running fasty. Very fast and smooth. But when you do custom roms, all your apps disappear, so definitely start with titanium backup.

1st of all, ~ Thank you ~ t3cnOs1s  &  ironjoey. I'm a real newbie & as as dumb as can be when it comes to these things. Everyone keeps asking me why I want to ROOT ~ what do I want to accomplish. Well theres a lot of great stuff out there I want, like ~ Titanium b/up for example. BUT what I really want to do is install an app called " sixaxis " This app allows U to use a playstaion ( PS3 ) controller... Apparently U can navigate the screen menus & of course most importantly...~ play games wirelessly all while the phone is outputed to my 52" HDTV. Its like having a mini video games system...!!! When I saw this app ~ thats when & why I wanted to ROOT. Anyone have exerience wth this app & if its any good... Thank You.
