Ok guys I totally have no idea what I'm doin here I can download the files but what do I do after that. I'm sorry if it is already posted on here which I'm sure it is somewhere. As I said I'm new to this so what I've been reading is all running together and turning into jiborish to me. Can some one post a link to a step by step guide.

Put the Update.zip on the root (the very beginning, not in any folders) of the SD card. You can do this by plugging in the phone with the USB cable and choosing Mass Storage.

After that's all there, turn off your phone, and when you're turning it back on, hold in both of the volume buttons on the side of the phone until you get to a screen with a black background. There should be a few things you can choose from to do. I believe you have to do the second one (Hit the Down Volume button once, then press the power button).

It'll do some stuff, and then it'll reboot, and you'll have the Superuser app.

You could give the one click root on XDA developers a try, it's real simple and the instructions are right there for you.

You really shouldn't need to unroot your phone, but if you do, once again I would use the 1-click root in the link above. It's an idiot-proof way to go.

Forgot all about the 1-click thing. That is a good program.
