So, I found this:

Basically, I want one of those as my Captivate background, badly Sticking out tongue

The site has a download for two forms: for Winterboard (which is an iDevice app so therefore not an option)
The other is a wmv video file intended for a pc background.

Do any of you guys know if it's possible to put a wmv as a background on the Captivate?
And how I can do so?
Or absolutely any other way to get one of those as my background xD

Those are pretty awesome indeed.

If you long-tap on your home screen, there should be an option window to pop up that includes Wallpapers, then live wallpapers.  (May be a little different than mine, I'm running LauncherPro).  Not sure how/where you would need to save that file, or how it identifies live wallpapers --- I refuse to use them because they are sooooooooooooo taxing on an already problematic battery life.
