So i have a friend that is pretty good with changing roms and things on android phones so i allowed him to try to update mine to gingerbread. He went along with his procedures and now the phone is stuck in a boot loop. I have tried getting into safe mode, and it will not enter safe mode. I have also tried to connect it to my pc and use odin on it, but my phone is not recognised while its in download mode. My phone was fine when i used it all the time for adding things to the sd card, but now it wont recoginse it. What do i do to fix my phone??? Is it permanently fried?
Any help on either getting rid of the startup loop or getting it to work with my pc in download mode would be awesome. Thanks for any and all sugestions guys.
We have a backup of my original rom and kernal and everything, we just cant get any way to flash it back.
