No update found. « on: June 21, 2011, 10:38:09 AM » I have a I897 and I'm running 2.1 still. My phone isn't registered with att because i bought it offline. I'm hearing all this noise about updates and I wanted to know 1, if there is a update for my phone 2 if there's a way i can  manually do it since th e software update isnt finding any updates. No update found. « Reply #1 on: June 21, 2011, 12:20:05 PM » There is an update for the phone to 2.2.  The 2.2 update is not done trough the OTA (over the air) update system on the phone.  It is done connected to your PC through a program called Mini Kies.  There are several threads on this forum that can guide you through and provide insight on updating without too many problems.
