Just a few days before the 2.3.5 update was released, I emailed the President of ATT to let him know my complete disgust with his company and Samsung for their lack of ATT Captivate updates. I had purchased two Captivates in Oct. 2010 along with two Bluant S4's with the salesperson's promise that an update within 30 days would allow voice dialing over bluetooth.
To my utter amazement, I received a phone call from his office's rep for the west coast within four business days wanting to know if the new update had solved my problem. It has!!!!!! Now I am legal in Kalifornia.
I am so happy!! Using Vlingo In Car with my Bluant S4 works like a dream. However, I am not convenced that I will stay with ATT when my contract is up in Oct., I still have alot of resentment towards ATT.
Thanks to all the great folks on this forum for keeping the fires going. I check it almost every day.
